With locations stretching from Kearney, Neb. to Missouri Valley, Iowa, the health network is the largest in Nebraska and serves residents of Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northern Kansas.Position Purpose:The position contributes to the mission and vision of CHI Health by acquiring and onboarding qualified and diverse talent to further the CHI Health mission and vision.Essential Functions:Supports assigned service lines with recruitment processes and leads projects in assigned area of expertise within the recruitment function.Serves as a mentor and role model to Talent Acquisition peers including the Talent Acquisition Specialists, Talent Acquisition Assistants, and Workforce Planning Coordinator.Utilizes well established and cutting edge sourcing techniques to generate qualified, diverse candidate pools.  Leads improvements to acquire new talent by initiating high quality, cost efficient alternative staffing strategies.Monitor recruitment metrics and develop action plan to improve metrics, when needed.  Adhere to predefined system workflow and processes.Sources both active and passive candidates by searching job boards and social networking sites, making cold calls, completing internet research, designing and posting job ads on applicable websites, utilizing candidate lists, actively re-recruiting, and networkingProactively and strategically develops workforce pipeline for hard to fill positions by cultivating relationships and networking with local organizations, universities, and other candidate pools in order to increase the profile of CHI Health as an employer choice within the community.Works closely with the manager to fully understand the requirements of the position and the profile of the most talented candidate for the position to ensure that only the most qualified candidates are presentedCollaborates with stakeholders to identify candidates who possess position specific qualifications and values consistent with CHI Health culture, mission and values.Guides candidates and hiring managers through the hiring and onboarding process, keeping all parties informed at all stages of the process.  Initiates clear and timely communication.Obtains all required prehire and internal transfer documentation in compliance with governmental regulations and internal policy and procedures.  Assists with seamless onboarding experience for new hire and hiring manager.Orient new hire to CHI Health mission, vision, commitments, legacy, and strategic objectives as well as HR deliverables such as (but not limited to) benefits, dress code, time and attendance procedures, handbook, ID badge, etc. Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department.Demonstrates work practices consistent with CHI Health and department-specific safety, security and infection control policies.Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth through participation in department meetings, in-service programs and continuing education programs.  Fulfills yearly education requirements as stated by policy.Maintains professional attitude with co-workers, internal and external customers and applicants; assures confidentiality.           Disclosure Statement: The above statements reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the essential functions of the job as identified, and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the position.','!*!Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. Experience: Seven years of Human Resource professional experience required. A minimum of 5 years recruitment experience is required. Prior health care experience preferred. License/Certification: PHR certification preferredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Requirements include:  proven leadership abilities, strong critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills, excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, ability to work independently, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Microsoft Outlook.
