We're looking for a
Learning Design Manager - Foundation - (United States)
Manage and support learning certification programs, including managing system setup and functionality, creating learner support material for certifications and managing user and certification partner requests and inquiries.
Manage and administer e-commerce and learning subscription functionality and programs.
Learning Design and Delivery
Collaborate with subject matter experts and partners to identify target audienceâ€™s training needs and recommend training solutions that are aligned with goals and create learning objectives based upon recommendation and solution.
Work with subject matter experts to gather, synthesize and organize content and incorporate their feedback into the learning solution.
Incorporate instructional design principles and utilize instructional design theory to ensure learning meets objectives.
Create technology-based learning courses and other content as needed to support Foundation, partner, and volunteer initiatives.
Leverage the Cornerstone OnDemand platform, and a variety of authoring tools, collaboration tools, mobile learning, offline course access, and other technologies to meet the needs of the audience by providing accessible, usable solutions.
Create and execute project work plans & budgets and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Source and develop project estimates; work with team members and vendors to develop and manage budgets and determine the resources required to deliver the projects.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and enforce project standards.
Review deliverables prepared by vendors and volunteers to ensure project documents adhere to quality control guidelines
Assist with drafting the scope of work/agreements that govern the work products and services provided by vendors, consultants, and subject matter experts.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelorâ€™s or Masterâ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Instructional Design or related field or equivalent experience
3 yearsâ€™ experience in a training and development role focused on design and development of technology based learning
Extensive experience using motion graphic video creation tools, authoring tools and other technology based learning creation tools and understanding of SCORM and AICC standards
Visual design skills and experience with tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
Previous experience with learning and talent management systems
Ability to work independently, as well on a team with multiple projects and tight deadlines
Thorough understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively manage through the complexities of the business solution
Exceptionally strong communication skills to effectively manage multiple projects and work in multidisciplinary teams
Highly proficient using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Up to 10% travel required to a variety of regions worldwide
