SNI companies is looking for a Recruiter for a 3-4 month assignment. Hours 8-4 or 8-5 with 1 hour lunch.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The HR Staffing Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate administrative processing of personnel operations including recruitment and orientation of new hires.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer recruitment process for agency.

Update job line/ Utilize website and ATS system
Internal job posting process - posting, monitoring, follow-up and documentation
Prepare and place ads as necessary
Maintain contacts within the community and participate in job / career fairs
Conduct screening interviews & coordinate follow-up interviews with management
Ensure all recruitment stages are completed including Harrison, reference & background checks, drug test, TB / physicals, MVR, CPR, etc.
Maintain recruitment log and follow-up as necessary
Extend job offers & prepare offer letters
Manage temporary staffing process
Coordinate new hire process for agency

Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation
Ensure 100% completion of all paperwork
Ensure 100% completion of child abuse, sexual harassment, and safety training
Utilize LiveScan to fingerprint staff & providers -schedule appointments, prepare purchase orders & client tracking
Maintain new hire tracking log and follow-up as necessary
Set up and maintain files for all new hires
Ensure DCF/VPK/HS compliance for new hires
Send out welcome cards & new hire surveys
Prepare new hire orientation folders, benefit folders & Employee Handbooks
Ensure that job competencies are aligned with performance reviews and interview screening questions
Assists Director and Coordinator as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field with 1-3 years recruiting experience
(A comparable amount of training, education or experience can be substituted for minimum qualifications.)
