As a Graduate Recruiter in our Global Integrated Resourcing organization, you will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and securing the best for talent for Shell whilst maintaining maximum Hiring Manager satisfaction, ensuring best candidate experience and overall hiring quality. The Graduate Resourcing team is a global team responsible for recruiting 370 graduates into Shell per year. Working in this global team of graduate recruiters, this role will focus on the German market and also support the Netherlands.
What’s the role
Your key accountabilities will include:
Develop trusted relationships with business partners (hiring managers, country HR) to understand business priorities and talent needs both short and longer term
Hold professional Job Brief Meetings with hiring managers to fully inform resourcing strategy and ensure D&I priorities are established
Work across both internal vacancies and external, partner with global Sourcing Hub to determine the right sourcing method for identifying high-fit candidates
Manage the successful recruitment (quality, speed, cost and diversity of end-to-end pipeline) for internal appointments and approximately 45 external positions per annum in a given portfolio.
Conduct assessments, differentiate candidate capabilities to short list and guide business on objective ratings to differentiate candidates.
Be the key engagement point for candidates, considering their individual needs and being an ambassador for Shell and the Employee Value Proposition
Lead the offer making process to secure smooth and timely selection and appointment of candidates
Coach and guide Hiring Managers on Shell recruitment process ensuring full understanding of responsibilities and time frame commitments
Build a continuous, collaborative delivery partnership with key Resourcing teams; global Sourcing Hub, Resourcing Operations and Recruitment Marketing.
Be a visible Shell Ambassador in the external market, engaging with relevant networks and associations, as relevant to the portfolio of roles – Energy Groups, Trading forums, Compliance or IT organizations, benchmark groups.
Identifying and leading work to improve the ongoing delivery and operational effectiveness of Resourcing, e.g. Continuous Improvement (C.I) scope, or assessment upgrades.
What we need from you
At least 5 years’ experience of working in a matrix global environment preferably in Graduate Recruitment, Campus Recruitment, Internship and/or Scholarship space
Experience in analyzing marketing trends and strong sense of brand ambassadorship
​Strong business partnering and ability to work with stakeholders throughout the entire organization and with external parties, locally as well as globally
Excellent business acumen and value delivery
Ability to adapt to changes proactively by being agile
Fluent in English and ideally in German
