Description
The HR Business Partner Lead leads the people management agenda in a business unit/area, and acts as a facilitator for the company's management team. Applies broad experience in various Humana Resources (HR) areas of expertise. The HR Business Partner Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The HR Business Partner Lead (HRBPL) leads the people management agenda for portions of the Group and Retail segments. The HRBPL will collaborate with senior leaders and all of HR to advance business strategies, build organizational capability, affect change, drive well-being and engagement and build organizational capability through assessment, development and deployment of talent.
The HRBPL will be responsible for creating the human capital plan and then putting the plan in motion to enhance culture, talent mindset, and drive important business outcomes. The HRBPL develops and possesses a deep knowledge of the aligned business segments, key employees and business processes. In addition, the HRBPL:
Builds a strong business relationship with the segments and transfers HR requests and solutions to/from the aligned business segments.
Implements best practices and supports the delivery of HR processes.
Identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks.
Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management.
Leads change management projects and manages the HR related internal and external communication.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Sound understanding of business principles, model, and concepts as well as subject matter expertise & knowledge of HR disciplines
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders consulting on business and human capital strategy
Organizational development knowledge
Strong business acumen
Demonstrated track record of effectively identifying and closing strategic human performance gaps to create a strong talent mindset and positive impact to business goals and objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Previous experience supporting a consumer-centric business, or in a consumer-centric organization
Reporting Relationship
You will report to a Director, HRBP for Group and Retail and may be part of a matrixed team.
Louisville is preferred, other locations may be considered.
