Job Purpose :
Oversee the team of International Mobility (IM) System Advisors in order to achieve our goal of developing and continually optimizing the accuracy and compliance of the service delivery for International Mobility through system process design controls solution building and deployment via our core HR systems and technology
Application of business acumen in operations (People and business leader) in improving operations performance and leadership development among the people.
Principal Accountabilities:
People:
Managing the team of IM System Advisors by ensuring quality and accuracy of the data held and maintained within IM Operations
Enabling implementation of new HR systems through strong change management, recruitment and deployment of skills and representing People and Culture’s needs in relation to system delivery
Providing support and guidance in relation to HR systems across the IM Operations
Identifying training needs and pursue of staff development, supervision, motivation and leadership within the team in the area of coaching and performance feedback and contributing to the identification of training and development opportunities. This entails positive recognition opportunities, performance reviews, promoting career development within and outside of the team and giving space for personal and professional growth.Responsible for creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Supervising the team on a day-to-day basis; including the development of activities/ resource plans, attendance and case management.
Engaging each team members through regular and effective communication regarding operations, Service Development and Continuous Improvement initiative ensuring business and customer requirements are achieved.
Advocating and encourage team partnership, team work and a positive work environment.
Ensuring appropriate planning for resources (eg: work distribution volumes, projects)
Process:
Ensuring that processes and procedures for the team are in compliance with policies & guidelines.Ensuring alignment with HR Services Framework and escalate issues where necessary.Handling escalated cases, follow up on resolution, inform customer, document and capture learning gained.
Providing input to streamline processes and procedures within HR Services using best practice and Shell People functionality, to provide better efficiencies and reduce costs.
Strategy:
• Maintaining and ensuring delivery of a HR IT Roadmap for IM Operations
• Controlling and Effectively managing issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope associated with the implementation of HR systems for IM Operations
• Making recommendations regarding future direction of HR systems
• Setting clear team goals, KPIs and service metrics are achieved through regular monitoring and proactive intervention where required.
• Safeguarding the allocated individual team budget in a responsible manner
• Managing and coordinating all phases of the operations within the team to ensure efficient services delivery that meets all client’s requirements. This entails especially responsiveness and quality of the services that are delivered by the team.
• Ensuring added value participation in various operating/networking HR Operations forums within and outside the designated cluster as well as outside HR Operations.
• Participating in or lead regional projects aimed at ensuring operational excellence.
• Supporting the Operations Manager in building and maintaining excellent working relationships with the internal teams, the HR representatives within the business supported and with key business stakeholders, including proactive communication, collaboration and full transparency of team's service quality and overall performance based on metrics.
• Providing input for proposals for new business opportunities for the designated region and HR Services as a whole, utilizing economies of scale.
• Complying with audit requirements and established operational controls; ensure compliance with data privacy guidelines.
