Lead Technology Center HR Manager

The Lead Technology Center HR Manager is responsible for managing Human Resources (HR) services and programs within the technology center, including compliance with policies and standards, employee training and development, compensation and benefits strategies, and employee motivation. The Technology Center HR Manager also monitors the development and retention of all employees within the center. As a member of the management team, HR Managers play a key role in the motivation and wellbeing of employees.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee the overall HR Management at the Lead Center and Satellite Centers, manage remote HR teams.
Responsible for internal communication to improve awareness and motivation of employees.
Dedicates face time to support employees through interaction and feedback.
Regularly conduct employee presentations and roundtables and ensure follow-up as necessary.
Support Talent Management processes, such as Performance management, High Value identification, Succession planning. Support employee development through performance appraisals, career planning, job descriptions, career orientation reviews, Schlumberger Eureka Technical Careers, promotions, and recognition and reward programs.
Develop and monitor recruiting and staffing plans to meet technical and business requirements.
Manage recruiting campaigns
Develop and manage Technology training programs to build competencies and develop talent
Manage the transfer of key personnel between Operations and Technology, and within Technology, to exchange and develop expertise.
Uphold local compliance to employment law, works councils and union agreements.
Oversee the localized compensation and benefits strategy and recommend changes to ensure competitive compensation practices and a motivated workforce.
Support Technology management with stock option grants and restricted stock unit recommendations.
Oversee center social and teambuilding events.
Manage the compensation line in the center profit and loss statement, including forecasting, budgeting and monthly analysis of headcount and compensation key indicators.
Promote community awareness and global citizenship through participation in local programs such as SEED.
Meet with Technology management regularly to communicate issues and suggest improvements on current HR processes.
Provide guidance and coaching to Technology management on HR principles and employee relations.
Provide expert domain knowledge in responding to questions and queries received through HR InTouch.
Assist with coaching and developing new team members.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote privacy awareness. Manage the deployment of data protection requirements and the company's privacy strategy.
Previous experience and competencies:
MSc Degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Organization Development or similar
Min 15 years of SLB experience
Exposure and understanding of M-I Business Line
Experience with SLB Technology
Experience of the front-line HR in the US and overseas
Experience of managing remote teams
