What We’re Looking For:
T
he People Ops Specialist will provide high level HR administration and project support to the Global Human Resources and HR Business Partner teams based in the US.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
HR Services
Manage, direct and respond to inquiries submitted to the HR service desk. Escalate key issues as needed.
Collaborate with across HR Functions and external departments including Payroll, CREW and Technology in order to field questions and resolve day to day employee issues.
HR Transactions
Support HR Business Partners processing employee actions and letters (transfers, promotions and separations)
Serve as primary point of contact with HR external vendors for employment verifications, background checks, unemployment claims and I9 processing.
Work within multiple HR and 2U systems including but not limited to: Workday, Cornerstone and Salesforce
Regularly update HR intranet including internal HR process guides
Track work authorizations, notify managers and consult with global mobility and external contacts as needed.
Research & Special Projects
Serve as project lead and coordinator for annual HR efficiency projects. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement, obtain leadership approvals and develop necessary project plans and workflows.
Manage HR filing system and partner with HRIS team to research and implement electronic filing system compliant with state and federal guidelines.
Support HRBPs and HR Leadership with special projects as needed.
Research and inform team of changes to local, state and federal employment laws.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in HR, Business or Communications preferred.
2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong customer service background.
Familiarity with HRIS systems or reporting tools.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
Strong organization and attention to detail skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Focused on achieving defined results and exceeding goals and objectives.
Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
