We are looking for a highly motivated International Payroll Manager
who is interested to join the Accounting Department at our office based in Bangalore, India.
The International Payroll Manager is a key finance position supporting our international payroll operations, reporting to the Director, International Accounting located at the company European Headquarters office based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to join a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.
The International Payroll Manager will be responsible for international payroll process for some of the countries in the EMEA & APJ region including India. The International Payroll Manager will play a key role in the further development of the payroll department and will closely collaborate with the payroll team in the Netherlands and accounting resources within the EMEA and APJ region
This position calls for someone with a pro-active work approach, being flexible and hands-on combined with team management experience and proven ability to manage process changes in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment (in other words not just a pure people manager but someone with an operational mindset willing to get into the nitty gritty as and when required).
As well as international payroll experience, accounting skills and high accuracy you will have excellent communication skills. You will be highly organized and a team player. An “assertive” style that works well with others and a positive, uplifting attitude will fit best.

Key responsibilities
Oversee and manage the monthly payroll process for international entities including India
Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner by review and approval of payroll input and output reports, payroll and third party payments and review of payroll journals and reconciliations
This position will be incremental in developing processes and procedures for our international operations and to drive automation
Performance manage and develop payroll team
Oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements and SOX
Support all internal and external audits related to payroll
The position will work closely with the Accounting, HR, Compensation & Benefits, Stock admin, Tax and senior members of headquarters and international locations, including managing third party relations.
Prepare reporting, analyze fluctuations and provide explanations
Support the international accounting managers on ad-hoc projects and/or daily tasks
Person Specification
Previous International payroll experience
General Ledger accounting experience
People management skills
Accounting education preferred
Well organized and proactive with regards to administrative and system improvements.
Must have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment
Good communication skills; English language is required
Knowledge of Excel
Cross cultural team fit
