The Tulsa Performance Center is seeking a talented HR Generalist/Recruiter to manage the talent acquisition process to ensure an ongoing source of key talent and a continuous recruiting effort in support of the needs of the organization. Utilize the preferred human capital management system to fill resource needs across the performance center including direct labor and overhead positions. Oversee staffing strategies which meet or exceed talent requirements to continue to build a skilled workforce.
Essential Functions:
The following description has been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Strategize, develop and implement a recruiting process to include implementing a recruiting database of qualified candidates with emphasis on critical positions
Partner with the HR team and hiring managers in an effort to understand operational and support functions recruiting needs and position requirements
Source qualified diverse candidates through a variety of methods including advertisements, professional organizations, internet sources, technical schools, colleges, competitors, industry events, career fairs and networking
Manage and engage outside recruiters, temporary agencies and consultants to ensure efficient use of monetary resources and timely completion of assigned positions to be filled
Coordinate and manage college relationships to include campus recruiting, coordinating company ambassador programs and internship recruiting processes
Coordinate all outside recruiting events with the HR professionals on as needed basis
Recruit, screen, qualify, interview candidates, and background checks for designated key positions
Develop and maintain measurement statistics related to recruiting costs and effectiveness such as cost containment and retention, effectiveness of sourcing methods, cost-per-hire, budgets, etc., to include open requisition reports and other reports as required
Ensures compliance with State, Federal and AAP job posting and reporting requirements.
Manage onboarding and training process through first 90 days of employment; including orientation and new hire follow up
Participate in and manage special projects as assigned
Skills & Qualifications

Leadership skills—people management, meeting facilitation, presentation, and customer support
Proficient in interviewing, candidate selection and working knowledge of legal
Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to deliver clear messages, direction and action plans to peers and all management and executive levels of the organization.
Knowledge of legal aspects and personnel practices and theories related to human resources and the employment selection processes
Excellent computer skills to be able to create presentations, manage data and project manage special assignments
Proven ability to manage and utilize all internet tools, social media and cutting edge sourcing techniques for identifying and sourcing qualified candidates
Proven project management skills and the ability to multi task in a matrix environment
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training and certifications in order to be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related area required.
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in managing a recruiting process across all areas of operations and functional support staffs in an aerospace or industrial manufacturing environment.
Experienced with utilizing human capital management systems and applicant tracking software.
