SUMMARY:
The key responsibilities of the HR Administrator will initially focus on supporting the HR Generalist in all the hiring processes of our new team members from applicant, candidate, interviewee, orientation and new hire training through handling daily personnel issues and record keeping / systems during the life cycle of our team members. Other hiring process responsibilities include calling applicants for plant tours; entering new hire, re-hire, and team member information changes into the appropriate systems as well as any other duties assigned by management.
An understanding and working knowledge of employment law and HR functions as relates to regulatory and compliance issues is required.
HR Administrators will act as the first point of contact to team members and external partners for all HR related queries. Daily assistance with the HR lobby and team member traffic as well as administering the HR switchboard and handling calls, inquires and transferring calls.
Additional Duties Include: Attendance tracking, filing, uploading team member documents into Workday and other tasks assigned by management. This position requires the ability to perform multiple tasks at a high-performance level.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Education beyond high school including less than two years of special training vocational school and or college courses preferred.
Experience: 2 plus years experience.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills. Computer knowledge experience in the following programs: SAP, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Outlook; Internet; WORKDAY and HRIS experiences highly valued.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills; bilingual skills a plus.
Special Skills: Required to be HIPAA trained and certified; required to pass an SAP User test. Will receive additional education on the requirements of confidentiality and the privacy rights of all Team Members; must participate in training meetings and other classes as designated to increase expertise.
Travel: 1-2 trips per year may be required.
