MPS Group, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Benefits Administrator at the Corporate office in Farmington Hills.
Typical Duties include:
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting requirements to ensure benefit plans are in compliance.
Processes COBRA items as needed.
Responds to inquiries regarding benefits.
Administers benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, life, disability insurances and assist employees as needed.
Administers 401(k) plan including quarterly enrollment, annual compliance testing, annual audits, government filings, hardship withdrawals and QDRO requests.
Coordinates open enrollment process and maintains records of benefit plan participation, such as hires, transfers, and terminations.
Life event administration.
Maintains lists and monitors benefit reports.
Completes benefit audits for billing and enrollment status.
Validates employee records and data, making adjustments as needed.
Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as pet insurance and other employee benefit programs.
Reconciles all benefit billing and processes payments to AP for timely payments.
Administers all leaves of absence (LOA), monitors FMLA and ADA compliance and short-term/ long-term disability claims.
Manages LOA return to work tasks.
Participate in new hire onboarding activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three or more years of benefit administration experience & 401k
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
Good computer skills with strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Successfully pass background and drug screening process.
Familiarity with Paycor benefits administration software a plus.
Position reports to the human resources manager.

Requirements
Proven experience as benefits administrator
Solid understanding of different benefit plans (retirement, health & dental insurance etc.) and relevant regulations
Experience with ADP human resource management is a plus
Proficient in MS Office and/or HRMS system (e.g. Oracle)
Understanding of data recording and analysis
Excellent organizational skills
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities
Attention to detail
Reliable with adherence to confidentiality dictations
BSc/Ba in business administration, human resources or relevant field
