Position: Human Resources Administrator
Hours: Full Time (Primarily 8:00-4:00, Monday-Friday)
Pay: Hourly, Non-exempt, Rate depending on experience
SUMMARY: Assists the HR Manager & HR Specialist in day-to-day personnel functions, as well as performing other administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Many of the duties listed below are shared responsibilities within the department. Applicant will be trained on and expected to perform the following duties: • Processes and reviews employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility and tracks applicant through screening processes. • Schedules interviews and new hire orientations • Logs applicant & EEO information and coordinates pre-employment processes, including scheduling physicals, drug tests, conducting background checks, and creating new employee files, paperwork, and time cards • Processes employee apparel requests and works with vendor on apparel orders • Performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry and filing • Maintains strict confidentiality at all times • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven ability to appropriately work with confidential information • Must be proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn other software packages • Experience with HRM systems preferred, Kronos Workforce Ready a plus • Ability to work professionally with employees, co-workers, and public • Excellent verbal & written communication skills • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • High attention to detail & accuracy • Must have excellent attendance and work record • Preference will be given to candidates with related experience.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's Degree in Human Resource Management and 1-2 Years work experience in the HR field. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
