What We’re Looking For:
Our dynamic innovative People Operations team is looking for an individual passionate about transforming higher ed and joining a team dedicated to disrupting the existing education model. 2U’s incredible company culture is driven by leaders in every area of our company, and it starts right here with the People team. We’re looking for an organized, conscientious candidate who will support our work surrounding the overall employee experience across 2U.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Work within multiple People systems including but not limited to HRIS, ATS, CRM, and background check system
Support the internal People team to improve the Bootcamp employee experience
Execute all administrative tasks for onboarding, offboarding, including entering data in HRIS and auditing for accuracy and compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve People system records
Answer & delegate emails to different stakeholders in the company
Complete employment verifications
Maintain confidential employee e-files ensuring accuracy and compliance
Advocate for our company culture in all interactions.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in HR, Business, or Communications preferred.
1 year of experience directly related to specified duties and responsibilities.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Previously processed I-9 Employment Verifications and background checks
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels within the company
Knowledgeable in HRIS systems and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Ability to work within a distributed team as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment
Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Excel, GSuite (calendar, email, sheets, and docs), Slack, and Zoom
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $44,000 with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
