We’re looking for a HR Business Partner, Sr. Director to take on a role that’s strategic and high impact, affecting the businesses for which they are responsible as well as the People Department. Successful candidates will have a deep HR background, strong leadership abilities and an ability to drive change, enhance business performance, develop leadership and management capability, and continuously improve the employee experience.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Serve multiple businesses and senior business leaders; or a single large complex business with significant people ratios; or a single, complex business with additional functional HR responsibilities.
Directly manage a team of HRBP/support resources (e.g., Director, HRBP, Associate HRBPs, Specialists and or Coordinators), providing ongoing coaching, direction, and development.
Build strong consulting relationships with global clients to develop first-hand knowledge of clients' short and long-term business goals. Provide input into business strategy based on implications of people and organizational strengths and constraints.
Facilitate the achievement of organizational priorities and related change initiatives. Lead smaller change activities for specific client groups.
Bring internal and external expertise to the application of best HR practices across assigned businesses. Provide thought partnership and influence leaders on various areas specifically including performance management, employee engagement, succession planning and talent development, DE&I, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
Provide coaching to managers across the business to build and enhance leadership capabilities.
Serve as a point of escalation on complex employee relations matters, as needed, in conjunction with the employee relations team
Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to ensure best practice and compliance with company and the operations of partner universities; proactively ensure mandated compliance on all legal and financial requirements as per relevant legislation.
Provide leadership to the HR team and build its organizational capacity and effectiveness.

Work collaboratively and effectively across HR centers of excellence (Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management) to drive global HR priorities and initiatives to deliver impact to the business.
Advocate for our company culture. Ensure culture is the central tenet in the choices we make, and the advice HR provides to the company in maintaining a culture of accountability and trust.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in HR or Business preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of HR business partner experience.
Ability to work through ambiguity, crystalize issues and drive resolution effectively.
Ability to relate to, influence and coach leaders at all levels in the organization.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients/stakeholders simultaneously while managing team members.
Strong customer service background.
Familiarity with HRIS systems or reporting tools.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $139,000, with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate
