Shell is rapidly transforming Pernis Refinery and Moerdijk Chemical plant into an Energy hub for the future. An example the construction of one of Europe’s biggest biofuel facilities on Pernis. The Energy Transition and Future of Work trends will change the business environment, the way we work and types of capabilities / skills Pernis and Moerdijk will need.

The sites are looking for a recruiter to power their transformation with the right talent, combining the annual intake of Operators, Maintenance and Engineering staff with building a sustainable employer branding strategy for the future.

You’ll be part of our Netherlands and Germany recruitment team, focusing on experienced-hire recruitment. We’re a diverse team, based across multiple locations, with a blend of different backgrounds and experiences. 2022 is set to be a year of significant Recruitment for Shell in the Netherlands strong recruitment delivery will be key to our success. What’s the role


Partnering with the business and translating the business resourcing strategy to actionable plans to deliver with speed, cost effectiveness and hiring of quality talent.
End-to-end resourcing of external positions, including attraction, jointly conducting job brief meetings and developing a sourcing strategy, leading of the offer making process, in line with Resourcing targets and key performance indicators.
Closely collaborate with Employee marketing to develop a brand and marketing strategy to reach and ultimately attract the right technical talent.
Being an ambassador for Shell and the EVP internally and externally while ensuring continued focus on candidate centricity and hiring manager satisfaction.
Championing and assuring Diversity & Inclusion remains at the core of the end-to-end resourcing process.


What we need from you


Your partners and client groups would view you as a trusted and credible partner.
Understanding of recruitment processes, practices, systems, HR policies and local employment law or demonstrated HR business partnering ability is required.
Track record of handling and delivery significant volume of technical roles in the Dutch labor market.
Track record of setting up effective sourcing / marketing strategies targeting MBO3 /MBO4 / HBO educated technical talent in the Dutch labor market.
Strong knowledge of candidate sourcing, attraction strategy development (OCR, MBO3 4 technical profiles), assessment and offer negotiation.
Good data analytics skills to review/anticipate/adjust current priorities and needs.
A strong curiosity to learn and demonstrated ability to nurture a psychologically safe and inclusive environment within which teams and individuals can thrive.
This role is open to flexible working options however a minimum of 2 days site presence (Pernis and Moerdijk) a week is strongly preferred.
