Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Coordinate activities to recruit, advertise/internally post, interview, and tests employees to fill vacant positions.
Plans and conducts or coordinates new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Process reimbursement relocation payment requests for new and employees who have been relocated.
Temporary Labor coordinator for Local Site through outside contracted vendor. Includes obtaining personnel, verifying, and reconciling invoices to labor rate and time sheets.
Keeps personnel records, I-9's files to ensure legal compliance.
Performs personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
Coordinate annual benefit enrollment process for regional site employees.Responsible to maintain HRIS system including benefit election reports, personnel information of payroll to ensure regional site employees are processed and paid correctly and receive elected benefits.
Responsible for working with payroll department maintain payroll system and processing weekly payroll.Assists HR Manager/Director with coordinating the annual performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university.
2 years of related experience in HR.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Computer Skills: Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.
