RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
The SR HR Manager will be responsible for leading the transportation Human Resource team who provide support for 2,000 team members in multiple functions within the organization and in various facilities across the nation. Assists in driving Transportation business results and solving business challenges through developing relationships and building trusted partnerships with Operations and other HR and management teams. This includes managing multi-functional initiatives HRBP led projects and solutions client services and project management; provides group and one-on-one coaching with managers and team members to support leadership development, business decision-making, human resources management, problem solving and performance management; consultative role in employee communication initiatives; coaches performance and employee relations issues; maintaining a level of talent intimacy with each individual within the function and developing strong talent by connecting and knowing our Team members and helping them to expand their knowledge and grow their careers. The HRBP will lead the team toward building strong relationships with and serving as the main point of contact for team members and managers and implement HR strategy in support of short-term and long-term business goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or related area preferred.
Experience: 5 years of business experience with applicable HR Business Partner and HR Operations experience.
Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and WorkDay
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), interpersonal and influencing skills
Special Skills: Highest level of integrity; demonstrated track record of results; sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced high-energy environment; ability to develop and maintain strong effective internal customer business partner relationships; strategic thinker intellectual curiosity prudent risk taking and thrive in a collaborative and teaming environment; self-awareness business acumen and proven track record of business partnering.
Travel: 30-50% of travel required
