Job Description:

The HR Digitalization journey that is focusing on delivering greater business impact and improved employee experience in a more affordable way is now entering its next phase. The Digital Pay & Benefits project has been established to support Shell’s ongoing initiative to digitise HR. The programme’s focus is the decommissioning of Shell People, the migration of Shell’s core HR platform to Workday and the transition of Shell People payrolls to other payroll solutions.

The programme is moving into its next phase which includes the implementation of Workday Time Management and Compensation functionality globally and Workday benefits functionality where appropriate with other options to support benefits enrolment also being considered.

The transition out of Shell People needs to ensure that our HR processes and systems continue to support the needs of the business and enhance employee experience. The programme partners with the wider Shell HR community including HR Strategy, HR Centres of Excellence, HR IT, HR in the Country and third-party providers.

As part of the set-up of Digital HR: Pay & Benefits project focusing on ensuring we have the right strategy in implementing new functionalities, we have introduced the role of configuration analyst. For the activities during the implementation we are looking for 3 additional Configuration Analysts that are interested to combine their knowledge of HR processes with their affinity for systems. This role shall focus on compensation both basic and advance.

The main accountabilities for Configurations Analyst - Compensation are the following:


Help to translate the process design to solutions in the system for the full scope of the functionality
Ensure compliance with agreed process design and systems configuration standards that are agreed within the project
Stick to agreed design where exceptions are only allowed for legal reasons and in case of great business value
Help to define test scripts and participate in testing and defects resolution
Work close with the implementation partner on configuration and end to end system implementation of new functionality
Build up knowledge on the solutions to independently configure the system
Focus on configuration of allowances, merit and bonus
