Hill Knowlton Strategies is looking for a HR Administrator to join the People Culture team in Toronto. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the team across all aspects of human resources including talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, records management and reporting. The successful Administrator will also support the Senior Payroll Specialist as required. They will approach work with enthusiasm, speed and have excellent attention to detail. What You’ll Be Doing:
Maintain up-to-date employee files ensuring new information or changes in employment status are updated in a timely manner
Assist in the coordination of employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
Contribute to the recruitment process, posting and removing job postings, screening resumes, conducting reference checks, and scheduling meetings
Administer leave programs such as short-term disability, long-term disability, and maternity leaves, among others
Administer employee benefits including enrolments, terminations, and updates, and submitting invoices to Payroll/Finance for processing
Maintain and updates People Culture information on relevant sites to that appropriate and up to date materials are available to employees
Act as the first point of contact for human resources and payroll related matters, such as, but not limited to recruitment, compensation, benefits, leaves, occupational health and safety, attendance management, policy/procedure interpretation and various employee relations issue.

Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
At least three years working experience in an HR role
Experience in maintaining confidential HR files
Solid knowledge and proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Outlook and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
High level of follow-through
