EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST HUMAN RESOURCES Marietta Memorial Hospital, 401 Matthew Street, Marietta, Ohio, United States of America Req #4182 Thursday, April 20, 2023 Status: Full Time 80 hours Hours: 8A-430P M-F In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for providing guidance and resolution to employee relations matters , training and communication, and leadership development along with assisting in other human resource related duties. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Requirement: Bachelors degree (preferred) in human resource or a related field Will consider high school diploma with minimum of three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a human resource department Communication, interpersonal and numeric skills and basic computer knowledge Job Functions: Works closely with Leadership to provide guidance and resolution to employee relation matters. Administers various human resources plans and procedures for hospital and system employees; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures related to area of specialty. Partners with Director of Human Resources to train and communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. Systems vision and strategic vision. Participates in Human Resources department and specialist meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains compliance with hospital policies and procedures, accreditation regulations, and federal and state regulations concerning employment. Maintains a comprehensive awareness of current HR and local issues in order to continuously improve organizational planning. Completes special projects as assigned by Director of Human Resources.
