SUMMARY
Global Precision Systems, LLC is seeking a qualified payroll assistant to assist in the daily payroll operations in El Paso, TX.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General duties associated with Payroll utilizing automated timekeeping systems
Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee’s payroll records
Familiarity and experience with Federal and State payroll regulations
Track daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports in regards to payroll and billing
Collect payroll discrepancy information and coordinate with Corporate Office
General administrative duties involving preparation of reports and deliverables as directed by the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager
Willing and able to learn and understand DCAA requirements and reporting
Typing finished documents from drafts for payroll and billing
Coordinate with Corporate Office on billing and payroll issues
Oversee, maintain, and correct all time keeping issues with staff
Organize and maintain all payroll and billing documentation
Professionally assist employees with any payroll issues
Submit all payroll and billing according to time tables
Work directly with client in any billing situations
Develop and update various administrative situations
General duties as assigned by the Project Manager
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Three (3) years’ general administrative experience
Three (3) years’ of any combination of higher education or experience in payroll field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
Computer skills including proficiency in various Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as automated payroll systems
Organizational skills commensurate with position
Preferred
Five (5) years’ general administrative experience
Four (4) years’ of any combination of higher education or experience in payroll field

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

Limited Supervisor Responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
