As a Human Resources Manager, you’ll work with the integration and culture creation of MillerKnoll and lead positive employee engagement initiatives. Required Skills
Acting as a consultant and business partner to client groups, managers, and employees by understanding their unique needs and business objectives and providing advice and counsel on human resource programs and practices in support of those objectives
Creating strategic direction in areas including: talent management, performance management, leadership and employee development, talent acquisition, organizational change, employee relations and administration
Partnering closely with the rest of the HR team to support cross-group initiatives
Develop strong business relationships with business leadership team to partner, coach and facilitate organization and culture change
Provide counsel and guidance to site leadership on complex employee relations issues and independently conduct investigations
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws in alignment with corporate philosophy
Oversee robust labor management program to achieve employee cooperation and engagement aligned with customer/business needs
Listening to, comprehending and articulating the voice of the associates and acting as an impartial advocate to ensure all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.
Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, business, or another closely related field. Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
5 years of progressive responsibility in a professional manufacturing HR generalist role with at least two years in a leadership capacity and a proven track record of positive interaction and established credibility with senior-level management
Expertise in HR communications, change and performance management, organizational design, talent development, talent acquisition and retention, compensation and employee / labor relations, and HR-related statutory and regulatory environment
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze complex situations and related data to determine appropriate actions
Ability to act as a highly effective negotiator with strong persuasion abilities and customer service skills while exhibiting an approachable work style
Ability to work exceptionally well with and respect individuals at all levels of the organization
Excellent diplomacy and judgment when handling routine as well as emotionally charged situations
HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
Demonstration of positive employee engagement and change management initiatives
