As part of the
Talent Acquisition team
, the
TA Research Manager
will lead a team of talent researchers
focused on strategic talent sourcing, mapping and talent attraction for the engineering organisation. The scope of this position will cover talent research activities across 2 geographies
, EMEA and the US, to ensure a strong top of the funnel for the assigned business unit.
Leading the Team
Inspire, motivate and manage a team of early in career TA researchers, assuring the team members have a clear understanding of what’s expected in both the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of their mission-critical role at Pure.
The ‘what’ includes things like achieving leading performance metrics, delivering needed hires, and participating in improvement projects.
The ‘how’ relates to the behaviours we demonstrate to achieve the ‘what’; how we support each other’s success, partner with our business leaders, seek to understand and resolve conflicts.
Sustain and amplify an atmosphere that allows team members to bring their full selves to their role. Bring forward the voices least likely to demand attention, collaborate for success by embracing diverse viewpoints, model inclusive management and help others do the same.
Create a feedback rich environment. Performance-coach team members to resolve any performance gaps, ask for feedback from your team to do the same. Demonstrate a talent-centric mind-set by knowing and understanding the ambitions of your team members and helping them achieve their goals through development planning, stretch assignments, sponsorship, etc.
Emphasising Strength & Health of the Talent Funnel
Lead the development of strategic sourcing for R&D assuring strong, well qualified and diverse candidate slates are developed for prioritised roles.
Apply a data-driven approach, develop role-specific sourcing strategies, benchmarks and talent insights to share with hiring teams
Provide consultation, competitive insight and recommendations based on a solid understanding of talent market availability.
Maintain individual and team-based sourcing metrics and analytics to manage team productivity and contributions and stakeholders; update reports and tools to reflect input and progress.
Establish sourcing best practices and leverage tools and automation to maintain a scalable, repeatable approach.
Leverage a team resourcing model that supports the best outcomes in all areas above
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE…
5 years of relevant relevant & progressive recruiting-related experience
A relevant track record in a TA team lead or TA manager position is strongly preferred
A personal brand of leadership that speaks to inspirational qualities of driving for results, removing obstacles, striving for excellence, always finding a win/win solution, being an active listener and engaging communicator
Proven track record of building trust and confidence across peer group and client group, a deep desire to help others grow and develop and help our company win!
Strong business acumen and business-centric problem-solving skills
Affinity and acumen in ‘evidence-based’ management and data-driven recruiting
Data driven with the ability to identify metrics and data to back up your strategy.
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
