As the Lead Technical Recruiter, you will apply your knowledge, skills, and strategic thinking to develop, drive, and execute the staffing strategies including but not limited to: SWE (full stack, front end back end), Product (Analyst, Managers and UX), Data Science/Engineering and so much more. What you'll do on a typical day:
Recruit for a variety of IT and technical roles, from entry to executive level; recruit for non-technical roles assigned as needed to support changing business needs
Identify, support and implement sourcing and marketing strategies using various recruiting and social media platforms, job boards and other sources to attract and secure qualified candidates
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure positions are filled with quality candidates in a seamless manner
Plan and facilitate regular business partner meetings to provide updates on open positions and develop strategies to attract and secure talent
Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers at all levels
Actively source and ensure a diverse slate of candidates are presented for all levels
Manage and/or lead projects and initiatives as assigned by the Talent Acquisition leadership team; support other team members as needed
Perform related administrative work and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of recruiting processes
Represent and participate in professional and college recruitment events to foster strong relationships and fill open positions
Effectively partner with members of the immediate and broad Talent Acquisition group to ensure success of the entire team
Consistently demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and the self-motivation to do whatever it takes to achieve success for the team in a quality, professional manner while maintaining upstanding integrity and work ethics
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
4 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, specifically in employment, recruiting, EEO and compliance
Experience with Microsoft Office
It'd be great if you also have:
7 years of progressively responsible experience with IT recruiting
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing advanced external sourcing techniques with various social media platforms, job boards and other sources
Confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders; ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a high-volume environment with competing demands
Solutions oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
A clear understanding that the full team's success is a shared responsibility; solid ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team to achieve success
