You will partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and the global HRBP team to support the Vancouver site leader and management team to create an engaged, diverse and high performing culture. You will also be a key contributor to a small, globally distributed, virtual Talent Management team that designs, develops, coordinates and implements Talent Management and Development programs, including working with leaders, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to execute day-to-day and program-related activities.The ideal candidate will approach their work with a high level of tenacity utilizing both HR generalist and business partner skills to drive HR operations and people programs. This is the perfect position for a high judgment, action oriented HR professionalu00A0 looking for an opportunity to have an impact on the business, culture and HR function.u00A0u00A0Responsibilitiesu00A0HR Operational Excellence:Align with local compliance, labor relations and company policies, full responsibility for the HRIS employee database, keeping and maintaining accurate employee files, time off managementManage day to day HR operations for the BU including execution of HR programs, processes and employee relationsInnovation:Initiate and manage proactive initiatives to support management in identifying local HR trends, keeping up to date with changes in labor law legislation and implementing the changes in line with local and global compliancesu00A0Implement Global HR Processes:Implement people and talent management processes (performance, learning & development, mentor programs, etc.), participate in cross-functional initiatives through collaboration with the Global HR Team and take an active role in improving processesPartner with the global HR team to identify opportunities to improve process and policies that effectively support the execution of the people strategyu00A0People and Culture:Onboard new employees, process new hire employment paperwork and documentation, plan and schedule orientation sessions in alignment with business needs and company cultureNavigate sensitive employee relations issues with good instinct focused on quick solutions while effectively managing risk.Develop and implement HR programs & initiatives to improve employee engagement, development and cultureInfluence the planning, logistics and administration of employee council meetings and other continuous listening strategiesCollaborate with managers and coach them in supporting a respectful, high-performance cultureTalent:Identify, recommend and influence continuous improvements to recruit and retain top talent and to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the local Talent Acquisition Process, including providing a great candidate experienceAssist with the design, development, coordination and implementation of global Talent Management and Talent Development programs and initiatives, including working with leaders, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to execute day-to-day and program-related activities; provide ad hoc project support as neededFacilitate in-person and virtual training programs applying adult learning techniques to make sessions engaging and to solicit maximum learning potential for the participantsu00A0Requirements:Bacheloru2019s degree in human resources, business or related field5 years of HR generalist experience or a mix of generalist and specialization in other HR disciplines (employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, operations, talent management, L&D)u00A0A strong solutions focus, comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverablesExperience designing and delivering training programs with creativity and personal impactDemonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks and coordinate internal resources for the successful and timely execution of projectsThe ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to support and manage HR and employee experience initiatives; ability to work with cross functional leaders to ensure effective implementationExperience working with business stakeholders through strategic HR initiatives within a matrixed, collaborative, fast-paced environmentPassion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement which translates into action resulting into high impact initiativesAbility to work independently and build strong relationships with remote team membersEnthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environmentExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the Imperva Vancouver office (hybrid)Applicants must be currently authorized to work in British Columbia, Canada without the need for visa sponsorship.Our Company:Imperva is an analyst-recognized, cybersecurity leaderu2014championing the fight to secure data and applications wherever they reside.
