In order to help you deliver on that goal, we encourage our team members to embody the same mindset as our guests through Graduate experiences and encouraged community exploration.  Job Duties And Responsibilities nCoordinates recruiting efforts for property by building awareness of the talent within the community and university, posting positions, and screening applicants for brand and position fit nnnProcess applications, hires, and pre-employment screening in HRIS and ATS systems  nnnFacilitates new hire orientation, onboarding, and training programs  nnnMaintains basic employment information in HR information system, including scanning of employment documents into electronic personnel files within the HRIS  nnnAnswers HR line and routes calls accordingly; handles basic inquiries and forwards on any employee relations and delicate human resources concerns to regional people and culture leadership nnnIs in the know of culture concerns and brings them to the attention of the appropriate party and/or regional people and culture leader nnnnCoordinates recognition programs including reminders, award ordering, and celebratory announcements nnnAdministers company recognition and engagement programs to include Extra Credit, Referral Program, Quarterly Service Awards Program, and/or any other company implemented program nnnAssists with ensuring compliance posters are in employee areas, timeclock is accessible, and breakroom/employee areas exude Graduate brand and culture nnnAssists and is the liaison to company benefit and perk programs nnnConsistently tracks brand and compliance training through the LMS and other company established training programs, communicates training gaps and accomplishments nnnnAssists and supports associates in navigating and locating appropriate employment resource and/or contact nnnProvides assistance to all people and culture projects as needed by GM and/or Regional people and culture leadership nnEducation And ExperiencennDegree in hospitality, human resources or business administration preferred nnnMinimum of 1-year hospitality experience  nnnnExperience in community and employee relations nnnHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word nnKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesnnKnowledge, understanding, and comfort training others, facilitating programs/presentations, and public speaking internally and externally nnnStrong customer service and interpersonal communication skills nnnnHands-on approach to projects and initiatives nnnAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and has proven trust by others at all levels of the organization nnnPositive presence and command skills  nnAbout Graduate Hotels®Graduate Hotels is a hand-crafted collection of hotels that reside in dynamic university-anchored towns across the country.  Each hotel pays homage to the heritage of its unique town through cultural nods to the local community.  Launched in 2014, there are 35 hotels across the U.S. and U.K. Graduate Hotels is owned by Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners, a vertically integrated real estate developer, owner and operator.
