Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity in the Employer Brand and Talent Attraction (EBTA) global marketing team for an experienced marketeer who is passionate about developing world-class marketing excellence in value proposition and candidate experience, for our marketing activities across the markets where we operate.

Our Employer Brand and Talent Attraction strategy is a key differentiator in attracting the best and brightest talent to Shell and our Global and Country Marketing Plans are key to bringing this to life and supporting our growth targets for external hires.

You will be part of a diverse international team of professional and passionate marketing experts who are based in several markets around the world. The team works together to deliver global and local marketing plans that enable resourcing teams to recruit target talent in a very competitive landscape. About the role

As the Employer Brand (EB) and Candidate Experience (CEX) Advisor you will be responsible for:

Employer Value Proposition :


Be the guardian and champion for Shell’s global Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
Ensure consistent implementation across our priority businesses and countries, liaising with colleagues in the Employer Brand and Talent Attraction global marketing team to set and maintain the standards for best practice

Input into the communications strategy and approach so that the execution stays true to the EVP
Work with the brand & communications focal to manage the messaging matrix and source an ongoing pipeline of proof points related to strategic priorities across our Businesses and within the HR function.


Candidate Experience :


The EVP must match the experience of our candidates at every touchpoint, whether human or digital. Your role requires you to own and manage the candidate/ talent experience through:
Owning a structured Candidate Experience CI (Continuous Improvement) program for our resourcing community: assess available data to measure performance, identify and act on areas for improvement and share learning.

Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to ensure a seamless and consistent experience for an external talent transitioning to a candidate and then to an employee
Developing and managing a measurable and actionable candidate experience programme to ensure consistency of experience with the EVP, working closely with colleagues in the Digital Marketing & Research and Marketing Delivery teams.


What we need from you


Proven capability to partner with a diverse cross-cultural community of marketing experts, senior stakeholders, and external partners to be the champion for the EVP own the candidate experience. You will need to have:
7-10 years of experience in brand and marketing, with proven expertise in developing a powerful brand strategy, and translating them into every aspect of customer interactions and user experience.

Experienced in brand management, customer insights interpretation and able to drive the long-term brand vision and thought leadership
Able to inspire others and engage stakeholders at peer and leadership team levels. A focused commercial mindset to identify and focus on value delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complexity into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional project teams with proven project delivery.
Knowledge and experience in employer branding would be an advantage.
