DescriptionUnder the direction of the HR Operations Supervisor, the Human Resources Representative provides exceptional internal customer support, while driving Human Resources (HR) functional excellence and process improvement requires strategic, “out-of-the box” thinking to be successful in a high performing HR department. The Human Resources Representative is responsible for implementing and administering human resources programs, policies, and practices across the HR functions including but not limited to Benefits, HRIS and Compensation. The Human Resources Representative also responds to tier one and tier two team member inquiries, questions and complaints; provides information, guidance and direction on HR programs, processes, and procedures to team member and managers. The candidate selected for this role is responsible for performing the duties in a front facing HR office with minimal supervision and instruction, and a high degree of customer service. The Human Resources Representative also processes billing, contracts, and vendor administration for the HR Department through appropriate channels.Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. Provides a solid understanding of the Human Resources department’s programs, plans and operations to assist visitors and callers with the goal of providing one-and-done service including, but not limited to, addressing inquiries related to all team member benefit plans and instructions for navigating their health care system sites, making changes in the Human Capital Management System (HCM), and answering policy and program questions. Escalates tier 3 and time sensitive and/or high impact inquiries to HR Ops Supervisor, People Services Partners and/or management as appropriate. Serves as the front facing customer service to San Manuel team members visiting Human Resources for assistance with questions, documents, accesses, and administration of employee programs, as appropriate.2. Tracks visitor and caller information to compile issue logs and complaints; provides feedback on HR policy and programs to area team member and management. Appropriately routes requests and works cross functionality within HR.3. Manages I-9 recertification, responding to audits, Unemployment Insurance administrations, and Verification of Employment.4. Processes various daily operations of Human Resources, including employee programs tracking, intake of requests for billing, vendors, and contracts, ordering office supplies, setting up employee files, and setup of HR workspaces.5. Participates in HR projects as requested in order to provide seamless support through Shared Services.6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.RequirementsEducation/Experience/QualificationsnHigh School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. nMinimum one (1) year of experience in an office administrative role. Broad functional Human Resources experience preferred.nExperience in the Hotel/Casino/Hospitality industry or other customer/guest experience, a plus.nEquivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.nPHR certified is preferred.nMust possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high accuracy of data management.nExcellent customer service orientation and strong oral and written communication skills.nStrong problem solving skills required to provide technical advice to address and resolve problems.nMust be proficient in Microsoft Suite.
