Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the front desk and answering telephone inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate personnel. Posting entering and tracking bid jobs until the process is complete; distributing department mail; completing forms and typing memos correspondence; assist entering new hires rehires, terminations leave of absences, vacations, and any other Team Member information change into the systems ; answering Team Member questions regarding payroll, policies, benefits, etc.; handling employment verifications for current and past Team Members; Must be willing to help cover for Benefits when HR Coordinator is absent. Assist with event planning. This will r equire to be HIPAA trained and certified; required to pass an SAP User test. Other duties include compiling data and generating reports, filing; maintaining confidential personnel records; ordering supplies; any other duties as assigned. Hours for this position are 10:00AM to 6:30/7:00PM. Other duties as assign by HR manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 plus years clerical experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Microsoft and Excel programs experience preferred. Must be willing to learn Tyson Business Computer Systems which include SAP HRIS, and Workday and understand the system and how to use these features.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Special Skills: Work involves occasional non-routine assignments; requires judgment in the selection of standard procedures organizing work and selecting appropriate methods to complete tasks.
This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
