Organizational Development & Learning Manager, Products & Crude Trading
What is the role
This role is a senior expert position where the primary focus is to frame, diagnose and address complex organizational and capability challenges.
As the Organizational Development & Learning Manager, Products & Crude Trading, you will be responsible for the following business objectives and activities:
As part of the HR organization, you will partner directly with our global business leadership teams to succinctly identify the organizational transformation agenda, strategic capabilities, and current-state gaps, backed up by data and insights.
Translate and shape the priorities within the OD&L demand funnel with a deep focus on value delivery.
Apply strategic change management skills to large scale multidisciplinary project teams with a clear link to strategy development and execution.
Diagnose and design strategic leadership development and team effectiveness interventions required to deliver performance, particularly in a fast-moving commercial environment.
Build organizational capabilities utilizing the full spectrum of learning methods and ensure alignment with, and contribution to, the global Shell learning strategy and agenda.
Lead/manage key consulting interventions at senior levels and successfully influence behavioral, structural and process changes.
Requirements
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Extensive (10 years) professional knowledge and experience of delivering OD and Learning initiatives in complex and global organizations.
Bachelor's Degree in any related field is required.
Familiarity within a trading or commercial environment would be advantageous
Passion for delivering business results within the highest standards of risk, compliance, and integrity.
Strategic mindset and the ability to partner with senior business leaders at the highest level of the organization on their critical OD&L challenges.
Ability to diagnose business/organization change issues and to identify appropriate type of intervention.
Strong project management background and the ability to lead large complex change projects independently.
Commercially orientated mindset, who can thrive in a fast environment and is personally motivated by understanding how this role can deliver tangible and significant results for the business.
You bring a Learner Mindset, a curiosity to learn and grow, learn from mistakes, successes and speak up openly in a safe environment.
