Oxbow Carbon LLC is currently looking to hire a Director of Learning and Development to join our Human Resources team in West Palm Beach, Fl. This position will be responsible to develop and execute training programs that support our corporate strategic goals. Research emerging industry trends, new technologies and techniques to update current training curriculum as appropriate. Identify employee development needs and foster career paths that support succession planning initiatives. Monitor training results that include tracking information, costs and effectiveness and feedback for company training programs.

Position Description
Develop, implement, manage and maintain corporate training programs.
Conduct Needs Assessments to identify leaning gaps across the organization.
Plan annual training calendar to meet identified needs, ensuring offerings improve performance.
Build career paths to foster employee development and build bench strength for the organization.
Coordinate the preparation of specific trainings using standardized materials to ensure a consistent message.
Manage curriculum development, instructional design, programming and delivery to ensure the general principles of learning and instruction are included.
Assist in managing the succession management strategy for the organization.
Serve as a coach to high potential employees, partnering with individual employees on development plans and initiatives.
Continuously monitor and audit training and development programs for effectiveness; implements appropriate changes and improvements proactively.
Monitor programs; collecting data and preparing analytical reports to share information and to provide suggestions for improvement.
Proactively develop and implement new programs, procedures and policies to support pursuit of employee and leadership development.
Embrace technological innovations and continuously refines programming to deliver in the most appropriate medium.
Cultivate relationships and partnership with external vendors and suppliers.
Serve as the subject matter expert on staff for employee training and development initiatives.
Support management with special projects and workflow process improvements and other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, employee development/training, education or equivalent required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive, professional experience in human resources and/or training and development roles.
Communicates clearly and concisely in a variety of communication settings and styles. Effectively tailors the message to the needs of the audience.
Establishes goals and objectives which are specific, measurable, achievable and relevant.
Lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner.
Physical Requirements
Typically sits or stands for extended amount of time in front of a computer.
As needed, lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
May be required to move about to coordinate work.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Must be able to travel as needed.
