Essential duties include completing weekly payroll processing and related reporting, including reviewing time and attendance records; timely and accurately processing employee deductions and reimbursements in various systems; reviewing and processing incentive payments; monitoring employee leaves to accurately pay employees; ensuring compliance with applicable payroll, wage and hour laws; addressing employee questions related to payroll and employee benefits; working and supporting HR Manager and team in day-to-day functions as needed.
Job requirements: Preference of a minimum of two years in Human Resources and one year in Payroll. Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word; working knowledge of payroll laws and regulations; Proficient HRIS systems knowledge, with preference given to SAP Time & Attendance experience and Workday. Self-starter with ability to work independently, driving results with minimal supervision. Preferred candidates must be detail oriented and have the ability to adhere to processes and develop efficiencies in their work. The candidate must prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high level of focus on quality, accuracy, organization, resourcefulness, and confidentiality. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written with a strong focus on employee assistance in a polite professional demeanor. Fluency in Spanish a plus.
