Graduate HR Representative

We are currently looking for Graduate HR Representative to join our Australasia Human Resources team based in Perth.
The Graduate HR Representative will be responsible for providing support to employees and managers on topics including, but not limited to, hiring, relocation, benefits, career development, performance appraisals, compensation, and promotions. He or she will be the first line of contact for management/employee queries and is expected to have a good grasp of the HR/business issues with appropriate and proactive measures to regularly improve HR performance and employee motivation. The Graduate HR Representative also assists the HR Manager in the design, development and implementation of various policies, programs and procedures and is responsible for administering these as directed.
Duties:
Assist the HR Manager and HR Business Partners in fulfilling HR business needs across four product lines in APG
Conduct activities related to HR induction and on-boarding, new employee inductions and arranging new starter training
Conduct all activities related to employee separation including exit interviews, system updates, documentation and other HR related requirements
Work alongside the HR Visa team to ensure compliance with all immigration requirements, including tracking international employee entry and exit dates
Work closely with the HR Hub on all people-related system updates (includes payroll, personnel changes, documentation)
Assist with maintaining the ‘HR Calendar’, scheduling special events and arranging knowledge shares for managers and employees
Manage contractor pool, including approvals and documentation requirements
Complete HR projects as allocated, for example external headcount audits, EA compliance and employee policy reviews and updates
Requirements:
Reside in Perth and have the full right to live and work in Australia
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or Commerce
Strong interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written English communication skills
Efficient time management and organization skills are a must
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel
An interest in promoting a good working environment
A proactive approach to sharing best practices
Resilience under pressure and able to identify priorities
The ability to work autonomously, to self-manage and use initiative
An understanding of the need to comply with company policies, including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures.
Experience at balancing work and personnel needs
Have digital capabilities
Good computer skills – Microsoft Office Suites, etc
