About THE ROLE

Our HR Operations team is the foundation that allows the business to fully support their people throughout the employee life cycle, demonstrating a passion to deliver a quality service on time, every time.

We are looking to expand our team with a passionate HR Operations Specialist, whose role is critical in driving forward the development and delivery of smooth and efficient HR operations within the NL market and provides high quality support and service to our head office and store teams (+/- 450 colleagues).

You will be a member of the HR NL Market team, situated at our European Head Office in Amsterdam and reporting into the Sr. HR Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • You are the subject matter expert on & go-to person for all HR Operational topics, personal data management and HR core processes and systems

  • You provide expert support, advice and guidance to the business on all HR processes and HR services relevant to key employee life cycle events (such as onboarding, benefits, compensation, vacation, exit management, wellbeing, core data as well as travel & relocation etc.), while ensuring full compliance with regulations and Internal and external policies

  • You provide an outstanding employee- and manager experience through execution of all HR core processes and train and educate our people if needed on the usage of manager-& self-service HR tools (Workday, StoreForce, PVHPlay)

  • You manage, resolve and track associates’ queries and requests via People Services Portal and the general HR inbox and liaise with HR Partners and CoEs if needed to achieve resolution (Talent Acquisition, ER Manager, payroll, case manager, HRBP’s)

  • You work hand-in-hand with the HR Coordinators and Payroll Team to deliver accurate and timely payroll (creation of upload files and mutation sheet, process data changes, overpayments etc.).

  • You continuously review, challenge and improve our HR (transactional) processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives for effective workforce administration. You identify problems, make recommendations, implement change and escalate where needed.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that HR systems are optimally set up. You support the development of HR systems in suggesting, driving and adopting fixes and system enhancements. You pro-actively detect, identify and resolve issues, all in order to fully support the business needs most efficiently.

  • You collaborate with wider HR team to deliver various HR Operational projects (for example a new policy, process or system implementation).

  • You’ll support the HR coordinators where needed in managing and maintain core data in HR systems, internal and external data audits and act as a gatekeeper for completeness of associate files and data accuracy.

  • You continuously keep up-to-date of changing law and regulation (CLA Inretail) and ensure correct implementation & communication to our business

  • You will deliver ad hoc and periodical reporting & analytics requests from HR partners and relevant stakeholders and transform raw data into compelling insights

  • You share experience and knowledge with the team and support continued development of all HR Ops colleagues

About YOU

  • You'll have deep previous customer service / HR experience and transactional and technical knowledge in HR Ops (payroll administration, core data, document management)

  • You’ll have strong knowledge of relevant HR systems incl. document management tools, HR core systems (Workday is a pre)

  • Clear understanding of process interdependencies, HR policies and guidelines. Strong understanding of Dutch labor law and how it applies to HR processes/transactions

  • Extraordinary team player with interest and ability to provide support and coach other team members to success

  • You’ll have excellent organisation and time-management skills demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritise own workload and being able to quickly adapt and work with pace

  • You’ll have the ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion at all times

  • You’ll have an outstanding attention to detail, professionalism, work accurate and a strong and proven ability to build good relationships with stakeholders

  • You’ll have the ability to analyse and interpret complex information and/or situations and apply pragmatic, simple and effective solutions in the provision of advice and support on complex HR Ops issues

  • You are technically proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • You are fluent in Dutch (verbally and in writing)

  • You’ll be customer focused, demonstrating a passion to deliver a quality service on time, every time.
