Job Description
Job Summary/Basic Function
Provides payroll assistance and services to departments and outside agencies
Specific Responsibilities: Manage Kronos timekeeping system throughout production of the payroll; assign appropriate Kronos licenses to departmental timekeepers; set up new employee indicators on Kronos and assign employee work schedules; review Kronos timecards for accurate pay codes and leave codes, employee approvals and departmental timekeeper sign-offs; contact departments when Kronos timecards are incomplete or incorrect; import data from Kronos timekeeping system into Banner; balance data between Kronos and Banner and correct as necessary.
Required Relevant Education & Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED; Experience: 5-6 Years
OR
Bachelor’s degree at time of hire with 2-3 years of experience. Will consider student assistants or graduate assistants who have worked in a business or college/university office.
Supervisory Responsibilities Has authority or responsibility over staff employees, students, or graduate assistants on a regular basis but is not a direct supervisor.
