We are growing our Human Resources team and have a new opening for our first Human Resources Business Partner to help develop, plan, and implement various HR initiatives such as compensation and benefits, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for HR initiatives from a strategic and operational perspective including the following:
Support and train managers on employment law requirements and ensure appropriate guidelines are followed.
Manage compensation questions as well as the annual review, succession planning, and salary increase process.
Participate in and/or manage HR-related projects.
Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Manage the performance management process.
Participate in workforce planning, organizational growth strategies, and change management.
Analyze and communicate recruitment and retention metrics for operational improvement and alignment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business
HR Certifications (PHR/SPHR/SHRM)
5 plus minimum years of progressive HR experience
Experience with Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employment Law, Compliance, Compensation & Benefits, and Organizational Development.
Experience leading/managing projects.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a high degree of personal credibility at all levels of the organization.
Ability to put HR initiatives in the context of corporate strategy.
Must be an advocate for improving our diversity, equity, and inclusion culture.
Ability to proactively and independently problem solve.
Additional skills and experience:
Strong business acumen and experience working with a variety of activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Self-confidence that is balanced with empathy and the ability to influence in a professional and constructive manner.
Ability to maintain established standards of quality and accuracy.
Drive, determination, and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results.
Excellent computer skills in MS Office.
Experience handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion, integrity, and maturity.

Base salary of $65,000-$75,000 per annum.
