POSITION SUMMARY: As the key driver of soft skills/leadership training and development, the Training & Development Coordinator will collaborate with Talent & Culture Leadership, Center of Excellence team members, and Prepared Foods Operations Leaders to implement and maintain leadership training and development solutions to achieve Prepared Foods business and talent objectives and drive cultural alignment.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, organizes and coordinates all training and leadership development programs to support the organization's initiatives. Supports design and delivery of programs for professional and operations team members and identifies externally suitable programs as needed.
Supports development and implementation of engaging training and materials, including facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, computer-based training/learning options, and training videos focused on leadership development and setting expectations for what good looks like.
Defines and monitors metrics and best practices to make program improvements and drive deeper impact. Develops templates for instructional courses and materials. Develops supporting follow up resources and communications, including documentation and platforms for program administration and launches.
Plays an integral role in planning, administration, and logistics of in person training events. May facilitate in person and virtual trainings, pilot programs, train-the-trainers, and other programs as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 years of experience in administration, HR and/or Learning and Development.
Knowledge of and experience working with learning management systems (WorkDay LMS), e-learning solutions, and online meeting systems.
Strong time management and planning skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of and experience managing training and meeting logistics and training evaluations and tracking of metrics to be leveraged for reporting and continuous improvement purposes.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and familiarity with web-based applications.
Excellent communication skills – including verbal, written and listening skills; effective presentation and facilitation skills.
Ability to demonstrate candor and an open dialogue, having courage to speak up, provide feedback, and acknowledge one’s own mistakes/failures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Travel will vary. Ability to travel up to 50% within a given month at times.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, HR, or Organizational Psychology preferred.
3 years of experience in Training and Development, with an emphasis on soft skills or leadership training preferred. Previous experience in food production and/or manufacturing also preferred
Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience building adult learning programs, adhering to adult learning preferences.
