Talent Acquisition Manager, Apprenticeship and University Relations

What you will do

In this vital role you will be responsible for university relations program support across all US sites aligned to DI&B goals, including implementing and coordinating a new apprentice program supporting Amgens One-Ten commitment. This role will collaborate on strategies, support established priorities and coordination of the new apprentice program as well as UR operations and summer intern activities. This position provides critical support by coordinating and driving the delivery of Human Resources (HR) goals in development, execution and alignment of University Relations recruiting and engagements.

  • Will support the UR Program Lead in strategy development and proactive preparation of deliverables
  • Establish, supervise progress, and communicate program development and delivery
  • Point of contact for functional recruiting team leads, recruiter resource forecasting and tracking, and efficiency planning and alignment
  • Adviser to the UR Program Lead and functional Talent Acquisition (TA) Team leads on key activities and issues
  • Build and implement delivery of Ambassador, event logistics training for all US sites, and presentation of quarterly program updates to HR Business leads
  • Manage and implement daily assigned tasks upon request
  • Update and maintain UR MyTeams and MyAmgen intranet content
  • Determine appropriate metrics and measurements and develop approach for effective and timely communications to UR Program lead, partners, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DI&B) leads and HR Leadership
  • Continued evaluation and alignment of University targets and DI&B presence to support the recruiting pipeline across all US sites
  • Ensure close partnership with Talent Acquisition and work to harmonize processes to demonstrate efficiencies across all functions
  • Manage relationship and build additional metrics with current internal and external UR resources / platforms including Handshake, Smashfly, Workday and NACE Analytics
  • 5% - 10% Domestic travel
Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree

OR

Masters degree and 2 years of University Relations or Recruiting experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 4 years of University Relations or Recruiting experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of University Relations or Recruiting experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of University Relations or Recruiting experience

  • Sophisticated digital literacy using Microsoft suite of programs and external recruiting software platforms including Handshake, Smashfly, Workday and NACE analytic tools and resources
