Workforce Planner (Full Time, Permanent) (AV-4)

We are seeking a Workforce Planner to assist for our Workforce Planning Department with the development and implementation of a comprehensive and coordinated approach to workforce planning to support the overall workforce strategy, and ensure HR policies and processes are updated, aligned and accessible for AV. This is a full time, permanent position currently based in Doncaster.
About the role
This position provides long term workforce planning and strategy development assistance to contribute to the development of programs to support career transition pathways, flexible working arrangements and retention programs for rural and remote areas.
Reporting to the Lead Workforce Planning, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assisting the preparation, development and delivery of a comprehensive framework for workforce planning across all AV divisions and regions
Contributing to the development of an AV workforce plan, forecasting supply and demand for AV staffing into the future (short, medium and long term), and is aligned with strategic, financial and operational plans
Regularly monitoring the key underlying assumptions and environmental inputs & implications for AV's workforce plan, ensuring alignment with State, Federal and related organisational data and information
Providing accurate and timely statistics, reports, presentations and other documents as required, including researching of comparative and benchmark information
Assisting with monitoring and measuring effectiveness of workforce strategies, with a focus on continuous improvement
About you
To be successful in this role you have the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, business administration or equivalent experience and training
Demonstrated experience as an HR generalist or business partner with exposure to contemporary workforce planning.
You have experience in development of metrics dashboards to monitor and report on trends.
You are an analytical thinker, skilled at interpreting data and complex work processes.
Your exceptional interpersonal skills will allow you to gain the support of our complex stakeholders and your negotiation skills will ensure you gain acceptance and support of ideas.
Advanced use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

The position is graded at AV4. The AV grade salary range for AV- 4 position is $93,819 - $117,413 plus 10% superannuation. Salary on commencement is offered at the base of the AV grade.
