What’s the role?
As HR Manager for Shell in Italy, you will be in the lead to define, design and drive the implementation of country-specific HR projects and interventions to deliver the country People Agenda. Key focus areas of your daily work will be Employee and Industrial Relations (ER/IR), Organization Development as well as Talent Management. Reporting to the Vice President HR your main responsibilities are to:
Provide insight, advice and coaching to the Country Chair as well as the Country Coordination Team to enable delivery of Business/Function objectives in country.
Lead local HR team, develop and coach in-country HR Advisors and HR specialists
Partner with local leadership team to frame and ensure execution of the talent agenda for Italy including country succession planning and country-specific talent interventions
Provide expertise on queries, litigations, escalations, portfolio activity and global projects
Advice and support the business on managing organizational change
Proactively manage and enable a healthy ER/IR environment in country.
Proactively represent Shell for all CLA requirements
Ensure license to operate by consistent and effective deployment and delivery of global processes, strategies and change initiatives in close cooperation with global HR
Ensure that employer brand is attractive and EVP in the country is competitive.

What we need from you
For this role, we are looking for a seasoned HR professional with a proven track-record in industrial relationship management. As this role requires collaboration with a diverse network of external and internal stakeholders, we are looking for a highly skilled communicator who can build and nurture those relationships to create long-term value for the business. Furthermore, we are looking for HR leaders who have:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in business administration or a comparable discipline
Several years of professional experience as HR Manager, preferably in an industrial environment
Experience in leading teams and delivering through others
In-depth Knowledge of Italy HR specifics and Italian labour law (certificate preferable)
Ability to identify and understand local external market trends (economic, political, social) and derive insights to drive effective long-term ER/IR environment.
Strong stakeholder and change management skills
Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English
