is looking to hire a People Generalist for our Global Sales & Customer Success Teams. In this role, you will report directly to the global VP of HRBPs for Sales & Customer Success, with a focus on the US and partnering with HR Operations. This role is a true generalist position(50% recruiting & 50% HR Operations) working with the business, and our COEs to roll out programs. Everyday you will build trusted relationships and credibility across the organization. This role needs a solution oriented person who is a systems thinker that can easily connect the dots, enjoys leveraging data/metrics to inform solutions, and has the opportunity to partner with Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, and Talent Development as we continue to design a great culture at Brightcove.
Job Responsibilities
Full life cycle recruiting across junior to mid-level sales and customer success roles in the US, along with managing external recruiting agencies with a strong focus on hiring for diversity.
Revises job descriptions, opens reqs, partners with hiring managers in the creation of interview guides, along with guidance on compensation.
Manage open roles against 2023 headcount plan partnering with
talent acquisition,
finance, hr ops, and external agencies to ensure alignment and budget needs are met
Partner with HR Operations in the creation and maintenance of sales & customer success business dashboard(s)
Work closely with the broader HRBP Team on special projects such as performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and HR operations.
Consult with sales & customer success managers to provide HR guidance, develop solutions, programs, policies, and training, when appropriate
Analyze trends and metrics (exit surveys, employee surveys, performance, etc.) to
cultivate a culture of excellence and inclusion
Partner with HR Business Partner team to facilitate solutions for employee relations issue
s and knowing when and how to direct questions and escalate matters when needed
Conduct and create trend analysis reporting for existing employees
Submit and manage start and exit process in partnership with HR Ops
Partner with HR Operations to facilitate employee changes including promotions, compensation and offboarding activities.
Qualifications/Experience
2 years’ relevant human resources experience is required
Background working in a scrappy startup environment and a larger (700 person) public company
Experience in full life cycle recruiting for junior to mid-level positions, and working with agencies
Strong operational mindset with ability to apply creative work-arounds to design efficient and logical workflows in partnership with HR Ops for headcount management, recruiting, metrics reporting, and HR dashboard creation.
Experience leveraging HR metrics to inform policies, practices, drive solutions, and support the design of a center of excellence within HR
Ability to handle multiple projects with strong project management skills
Curious in nature, willing to ask questions and seek guidance when an answer is not known
Ability to work well under limited supervision, as well as, a collaborative team environment with a proven track record of taking initiative
Solid judgment and demonstrated understanding of when and how to share critical business information
High level of maturity, discretion, initiative and professionalism required
Must be organized and detail-oriented with a focus on interpersonal and relationship building skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with federal, state and local laws which govern policies and practices of hiring, compensation, benefits and employment
Thorough and demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel, and Google Workplace; Knowledge of Greenhouse (ATS) a plus

Targeted Base Salary Range:
$72,400.00 - $108,600.00
The base salary range listed above is across locations in the US. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to an applicant's experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and an applicant's work location.
