The Associate Design Manager is responsible for leading a team of learning professionals in the successful creation of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. learning programs and solutions across multiple formats. This role focuses on the development of learning experiences that factors in the needs of employees, customers and the business. This leader will work closely with cross-functional groups within Enterprise Learning and Business Teams (where appropriate) to provide input on deliverables and their impact on our audience and ensures quality output.
Responsibilities:
Be a learner advocate who reflects this through cross-functional collaboration and design and development of complex and high visibility learning projects
Quality assurance - lead copywriting and copyediting/proofing for
Design Development and Learning Technologies team (and broader enterprise learning team as needed)
Incorporate change management practices in the design of and development of projects; helps to coach and support others on this skill as needed
Has a pulse on industry best practices; shares and incorporates to team development, learning support and design.
Build, champion, and influence a culture of learning.
May have direct reports.
Key Skills:
Strong writing and copy-editing skills
Ability to incorporate change management into all aspects of work
Ability to collaborate and form strong partnerships across many functions of the business.
Comfortable with leveraging existing and new technology (video editing software, Vyond, teams, Adobe, etc.) to create learning solutions (podcasts, videos, eLearnings, etc.) and enable a learning environment.
Basic Qualifications:
5 years HR or equivalent experience
2 years people/project/process management experience
2 years design/development or equivalent experience
