An industry leading cannabis company located in Carpinteria,is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team to oversee human resourcesoperations for our grow facilities. The HR Generalist will work closely withmanagers and employees on performance management, compensation, training,employee engagement and other matters as assigned. This person will operate independently tosupport the needs of leaders and employees and will serve as the primary HRpoint of contact for assigned California teams. Â
CORE JOB DUTIES
       Provide leadership and counsel to field leaders indelivering HR solutions that enable a high-performance culture Â
       Work closely with management and employees to increaseproductivity and morale? Â
       Observe/identify trends and analyze data within the regionor departments?and propose actions to address any gaps or issues Â
       Assist in implementation of staffing strategy with TalentAcquisition, key HR partners and other appropriate leaders Â
       Participate in onsite onboarding and conduct new hireorientations as necessary? Â
       Coach managers on performance management and employeeconversations Â
       Resolve employee relations issues, by addressing complaintsor concerns?and escalating to HR leadership as necessary Â
       Partner with managers, facility leaders and HR leaders onannual performance review and goal setting cycles Â
       Monitor and ensure understanding and compliance withfederal and state employment laws as well as company human resources policiesand procedures Â
       Partner with facility leaders to determine necessarytraining and development opportunities for employees Â
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE,EDUCATION AND SKILLS
       Bachelor†s Degree in Human Resources or Business-relatedfield Â
       5 years†experience in Human Resources, preferably in afield-based role Â
       Knowledge of labor and employment laws Â
       Complete understanding of HR policies and procedures? Â
       Advancedproficiency in MS Office suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred Â
       Fluent (read/write/speak) in Spanish strongly preferred
       Excellent interpersonal skills? Â
       Excellent written and verbal communication Â
       Ability to establish priorities and work independently Â
       Enjoys working in a start-up, fast-paced environment Â

       Must be 21 years of age or older to apply Â
       Must comply with all legal or company regulations forworking in the cannabis industry? Â
