Responsibilities:
Provides strategic HR Business Partner expertise to the US Cardiovascular, Immunology and Oncology Sales Leaders and their respective leadership teams to maximize organizational performance.
Provide strategic business partner expertise to the Field Operations across the all US Commercial BUs (Oncology, Immunology and Cardiovascular)
Translates business strategy and organizational needs into contemporary organizational performance solutions including organizational design, talent management, and culture change.
Translates the Field Operations strategies into the BMS People Strategy and monitors the effectiveness of organization performance programs through the use of metrics and analytics in a way that brings value to the business.
Works with COE’s to monitor external environment (e.g., job market, technology, demographic development) and define future workforce requirements (quantitative and qualitative) as well as identifying and articulating the HR needs of the business to the COE’s and deploys their programs and processes in ways that bring value to the business.
Collaborates with HR Business Partners and People Services leaders for effective deployment of HR activities.
Analyzes key data and trends to drive organizational effectiveness and the development of a workforce plan aligned with business strategy and objectives.
Drives succession planning, diversity aspirational goal achievement and talent retention efforts pipelining, as necessary, for external talent. Takes a leadership role in creating a respectful & inclusive work environment while role-modeling the BMS Values, fostering geographical and cultural diversity and an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
Candidate should have a BA/BS Degree, Advanced Degree preferred, and 7-10 years of HR relevant business experience
Proven success in working effectively at senior management levels to impact and influence decision making
Proven application in leveraging business acumen and external insights to improve business and talent outcomes
Experience in leading change management efforts including defining change and communication plans
Experience in the use of metrics and analytics in a way that drives business performance
Demonstrated experience in applying workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies, and succession management
Proven experience in working effectively within a matrixed environment and building alignment in a cross functional and team environment
Knowledge of external trends and factors that influence human behaviors and decision-making at the individual, group, and organizational level
Special Requirements:
30% domestic travel required
