Sr Accounting/Payroll Administrator Hourly Position

SUMMARY: Tyson Foods has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Accounting Administrator (Hourly). The candidate will be the go-to person for specific financial reporting and related tasks. This is a multi-task environment where your attention to detail can really shine and make a difference. Cross-training will be done in areas assigned by the Accounting Manager and Controller to include daily production posting and line efficiency analysis. All other duties as assigned. Hours of work will be determined by the workload necessary on different days of the accounting period.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: This position will be responsible for compiling financial and statistical data while meeting reporting deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to learn multiple aspects of manufacturing accounting such as basic elements of product costing gather production and financial information to prepare weekly scorecards provide support to the physical inventory processes assist in conducting self-audit procedures etc. The individual will be responsible for other duties as assigned by Controller. Difficulty of Duties: This position s work is extremely varied and requires the interpretation of data from multiple sources and a keen eye for detail. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as: setting priorities evaluating results maintaining confidentiality and coordinating with others. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment be able to prioritize multiple tasks and be able to communicate with varied groups of people.

REQUIREMENTS:


Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 5 plus years’ experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires intermediate computer skills which should include the full suite of Microsoft Office products. Experience with SAP and a computer-based inventory warehouse management system a plus.
