The Junior Analyst will be primarily responsible for supporting colleagues and providing some advice directly to multinational corporations on various aspects of their DC and DB retirement and other benefit plans throughout the world especially in connection with the governance, design, financing, investment, operation of those plans. We can provide integrated and comprehensive solutions across actuarial, plan administration, investment and insurance disciplines, enabling us to serve our clients' unique needs every step of the way.About the Role Your impact as a Junior Analyst:Core focus areas include:Design, financing, tax, and ongoing governance of statutory and voluntary retirement (DC and DB) and benefit plans around the world; andCo-ordination of retirement and benefit issues related to international mobility, M&A and other business integrations/ separations; andDelivery of global retirement technology solutions; andGlobal retirement accounting consolidation potentially depending on candidate.Uses technical international retirement and benefits knowledge and gains experience to be able to proactively assist with advising clients on all aspects in respect of the management of their retirement and other benefit plans around the world;Acts as a team member for bigger projects providing support to other consultants, working under limited supervision with verbal guidance;Takes responsibility for delivering some smaller projects, working off own initiative. Prepares meeting materials and participates in client meetings;Ensures quality by reviewing work critically and applying technical expertise. Efficiently manages deadlines and works independently. Must have attention to detail;Provides support for new business development working under the guidance of other colleagues.Understands and reflects in practice Aon's vision, approach to client care, the development of individuals and all values and cultural aspects of Aon.Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.About you Your knowledge and expertise: QualificationsEducated to degree level or equivalent;May have started professional qualifications (actuarial, CFA, PMI etc).ExperiencePrevious experience of working in an international retirement/benefits team for another global consulting/professional services organisation would be beneficial, but is not essential; and/orPrevious experience working in-house for a multinational corporation and being responsible for the design and delivery of regional or global retirement and benefit plans;Experience working in the finance/professional services industry in and/or outside of the UK, or in a multi-country team can be beneficial;Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multi-country team having regard to cultural differences;Self-motivated, confident and comfortable seeking advice and guidance when needed.KnowledgeMaths/finance/economics/business related degree preferred;Experience with MS Office;Some general knowledge of employer sponsored DC and DB retirement and benefit plans around the world, differences in social security retirement and other benefits globally is helpful;The successful candidate will gain and develop their international retirement knowledge by working with other members of Aon’s international retirement team and liaising with Aon retirement colleagues around the world.Salary and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary and bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 25 days holiday.
