Position: HR Benefits Administrator Intern

Job Description:
The HR Benefits Administrator Intern will be working alongside the Benefits Administrator and Benefits Administration Manager, gaining valuable skills and experience, which will enhance their future career prospects in both HR and general Business Management. As an intern, you will support the department in a variety of challenges and opportunities. The role is but includes routine monthly tasks and an annual project to renew the Benefits offering to the European population.
. Responsibilities:
Help employees better understand their benefits and assist the HR community in explaining the plans.
Coordinate communication of benefits policy related issues.
Draft communication materials and related to benefits eligibility, coverage, limits, tax status, wellbeing material for employees and the HR organization.
Gather benefits data and statists.
Support the development of clear and concise benefits management process including best practices to ensure the smooth execution of benefits administration.
Participate in discussions with plan administrators and carriers to assist in the management of services.
Assist in the billing and payment process with cooperation from Finance to make sure the providers invoices are paid.
Answer employee queries on daily basis.
Monthly Reconciliation of Employee benefits to the payroll and manage monthly data communication to vendors
Participate in promotional activities to the workforce to promote the company’s Benefit offering.
Complies with all applicable Schlumberger standards and policies.
Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation
Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company.
Qualifications:
Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources or Management.
Competencies:
Enthusiastic to learn and interested in HR/Compensation and Benefits in the Energy Industry.
An excellent communicator.
Reliable and able to work towards deadlines.
An analytical thinker.
Creative and confident in expressing new ideas and initiatives.
Familiar with the functions of Microsoft Office
