Our Human Resources is currently looking for a new team member in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The HR Operations team in Asia Pacific is providing a range of transactional and non-transactional HR services across countries and all business units. We support DPDHL employees on Employee Data Administration (EDA), Payroll Processing, Training Administration and Recruitment Administration.Would you like to join us and start your career in HR? If this is something what interest you, read on:Overall Role Purpose:Provides day-to-day payroll support to ensure that the local payrolls are promptly and accurately delivered.Ensures consistent application of policies and procedures. Key activities:Provide effective and efficient support to the HR Business Partner to ensure the smooth running of the payroll of the country/business unitsProvide support to the Team Leader in ensuring that deadlines are compiled.Ensures day-to-day payroll related matters are carried out systematically and meticulously.Provide day-to-day payroll support and advise to employees pertaining to payroll and tax related mattersMeeting set KPIs for HR ServicesComply with askHR SOP and quality standardsDemonstrate flexibility in work assignments (newand backup)Maintain process documentation up-to-date (DWI and Process Map)Participate in process improvements initiativesProvide payroll related information for payroll processing to the vendor.Ensure that payroll vendor provides the users with guidance on interpretation of the payroll informationLiaise with Tax advisors and upon advice, assist in submission of Expatriate tax return either year or on ad-hoc basis upon resignation or relocation to another countryProvide payroll related information for audit purpose to auditorsManage payroll on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly (depending on the payroll processing cycle of the country) basis in a timely and accurate manner Check all computation submitted by vendor before paymentEnsure that all staff’s personal payroll records including banking information are in the payroll systemGenerate timely and accurate reports in accordance to the requirement and other ad-hoc reports Skills / Qualifications:Good end-to-end payroll process experience, 2-3 years of relevant working experience in payrollGood grasp of HR processes knowledge (especially payroll)Good knowledge in computing tools (Words and Excel)Good statutory knowledge of a single countryGood payroll system experienceUnderstand inter-dependencies, interfaces and touch points of HR data/processAttention to details and accurate, acts responsiblyQuick learner and resourcefulBreaks down a problem, situation or process into its component parts, separates the main issues from side-issues, understands the nature of parts and their relationship to one anotherSets clear and realistic goals and objectivesMakes timely and appropriate choices based on accurate analysis and experienceContinually seeks to accomplish critical tasks with measurable resultsDemonstrates understanding of customer needs and focuses on these when taking actions on a regular basisWorks cooperatively with others to achieve target and objectivesProvides both verbal and written information (in English) in a timely, clear and concise mannerAchieve work objectives by following step-by-step proceduresRemains calm, pro-active, objective and controlled in responding to urgent or demanding situationsMinimum Diploma holder ,employmentType:Standard
