Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is the Top Human Resource position at the facility and is responsible for performing a variety of administrative , technical and professional work in administering and managing the plant Human Resource functions . This includes but is not limited to evaluating compensation , recruitment and selection , labor relations and benefits administration. Specific responsibilities also include all aspects of recruiting , interviewing and selection of Team Members at all levels to fill vacant positions . Managing the record keeping process for all Human Resource functions at the plant including HR transactions such as bidding, recruiting and promotions . Facilitating and preparing reports for retention and employee engagement activities. Employment Compliance activities such as affirmative action , ADA and EEO, employment eligibility and other compliance responsibilities . S afety is every Team Members responsibility. Facilitate training for Supervisors and crew relating to safety defensive driving Team Member relations and employment policies and monitoring all disciplinary actions taken to ensure they are consistent and fair. Other duties include attending and participating in community functions as a Tyson representative working with the companies centers of excellence and any other duties as assigned by the Human Resource Operation Director .
REQUIREMENTS :
Education: Bachelor s degree preferred. Experience: 3 plus years’ experience preferably in the Human Resource field in a plant environment.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for the Plant Human Resource Team.
